Originating in my home state of Michigan, this export grain is passing through my home of Marietta, heading into the deep south for export at Mobile, AL. In the foreground are Confederate Soldiers from South Carolina, most of whom died in the Battle of Chickamauga, a 3 day fight which is second only to Gettysburg in casualties.
