Remarks & Notes

NORMAN OK May 1978 -- Santa Fe FP45 5947 and GP38 3550 roll toward the Lindsay Street crossing from the south with a covered hopper train in tow. Very close to this location railroad surveyor Abner Norman and his survey party made camp. After the Run of 89 Norman was established and the town named for him.
