As twilight begins to set-in along the Arizona Divide, a heavy Kansas City, KS to Barstow, CA manifest train grinds up the steep grade near Flagstaff. With fresh snow on the ground, four GE locomotives, topping out at 17,600 horsepower, slowly move up the icy rails as they pull over 10,000 tons of cargo through the Coconino Forest.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
