Silhouette of an American Workhorse: On an undoubtedly chilly November night, a tried and true EMD SD40-2 is on the point of a NB train, waiting for a signal at ICG, just outside of Dupo. Once a common sight, with almost 4,000 "Dash 2's" built alone, their days are numbered, with many being over 40 years old at this point.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
