Remarks & Notes |
A bitter cold spell causing portions of the Connecticut River to freeze and plenty of snow for the season greet the 2016 version of the White River Junction Polar Express train as it heads northbound toward the North Pole at Norwich, Vermont, on the evening of December 11. The train is powered by VTR GP40-2 307 and has a set of Green Mountain Railroad cars in tow. |
