Great Western consolidation 60 gave up hauling sugar beets in 1965, and came east to the tourist hauling Black River & Western in New Jersey. The 2-8-0 has now been hauling passengers for over a half-century, with occasional down time for maintenance and overhauls. Here it is shown during one of those periods at the shops in Ringoes.
Do you ever wonder what is inside a locomotive, and how they run. Check out these photos from the shops to see locomotives taken apart to be repaired or rebuilt. It is cool to be able to see the hearts and organs of these steel horses.
