RSSX 4471 switches loads of petroleum coke on UP's Chevron spur in Salt Lake City on Dec. 28, 2016. The RSSX (Rail Switching Service) geep was built in 1951 and traces its origins to the Chicago, St. Paul, Minneapolis & Omaha which merged into the Chicago & North Western in 1957. It was later rebuilt by CNW to GP7R No. 4471 in December 1979 and retired from the roster and sold in 1992. The 4471 arrived at Chevron in June of 2013 after a gig at Huntsman Polymers of Odessa, Texas.
