Remarks & Notes
A "patriotic" red-white-blue DC-bound Metroliner rounds the big curve just north of Aberdeen's Amtrak station. No. 827 is a Westinghouse-equipped 76-seat coach; PRR Class MP85E4. I remember looking over the shoulder of a southbound Metroliner engineer at this location in June 1977, with the digital speedometer showing 107 mph.
