Remarks & Notes
An eastbound coal train comes out of tunnel # 29 near Pinecliff. The Moffat Tunnel Sub thru here was constructed by Denver, Northwestern and Pacific Railway back in 1904. The train is working down grade towards Denver. The train is now 15 miles east of Moffat Tunnel and has went from an elevation 9197 feet at the tunnel near MP 50, to now 6900 feet in elevation at Cliff Siding near MP 35.
