Remarks & Notes
Class 6E1 E1950 in the PRASA blue livery, leads sister E1813 in the oxblood livery of former owner Spoornet, as they team up to work Shosholoza Meyl's 'Trans Karoo' from Cape Town to Johannesburg, seen here in the Nuwekloof Pass near the town of Tulbagh. The pair will take the train as far as Beaufort West, the limit of the 3kV DC section.
