Remarks & Notes

The big 80 inch drivers on the Santa Fe Northern 2926. Note the words "Baldwin Disc" on each wheel. The society restoring the 2926 hopes to have the big Northern's drivers moving under its own steam by the end of the year. More information about the restoration of the locomotive can be found at their website: www.nmslrhs.org. Photo taken with permission and wearing protective safety gear.
