Steam seems to defy gravity on a cold winters day, and on this 10 degree day in Alna, Maine it wafts about effortlessly. WW&F No 9 and short freight consist are seen departing Alna Center station headed for points north, meanwhile the museum's 1930 AA Ford gets a good steam cleaning. Funds from this outstanding photo charter will help the museum toward its goal of constructing two new boilers -one for WW&F No 10 and the other for the all-new No 11, a reproduction of WW&F No 7.
