One of the 2 remaining CNW units on the Union Pacific Locomotive Roster makes a rare appearance in the KC Metro Area heading UP Train MDMFW 29 out of Des Moines, IA on the Spine Line.
Here the train is using the CP Kansas City Sub., railroad traveled by this engine while brand new, when the C&NW themselves held trackage rights over this portion of the line, then owned by the SOO/CP.
