Remarks & Notes
The Nickel Plate Heritage Locomotive leads NS Train 272, which is working the NS Voltz Yard Mixing Center, and is pulling back out to its train on Main Track 2 after doubling tracks 9 and 10.

Being that the NS Kansas City District is former Wabash trackage, an NKP unit isn't too far of a stretch since the WAB and NKP both merged with the N&W on October 16, 1964, substantially broadening the normal operating ranges of all 3 road's power.

After they get their train back together they'll blast east, keeping alive a tradition of "Nickel Plate High Speed Service" towards Winston-Salem, NC.

Locomotives: NS 8100, NS 9214
