During the late evening hours NS 363 (Chattanooga,TN-Macon,GA) cruises down main 2 track through Varnell, GA (MP 30.9H Varnell) heading south on the NS Atlanta North-End. Just a quarter of a mile south of town NS 363 is about to knock down the advance approach at the Control Point-Varnell, the dispatcher has the manifest lined up all the way through Dalton, GA but it will have to pass NS 347 with is waiting about four and a half miles south at Waring at the end of the double track main.
