With CSX J298-28 (Pusher) on the rear end, and everyone is on board, CSX Q583-28 (Nashville,TN-Atlanta,GA) with a pair of CW44AH's pops the clutch, and kick it into high gear making the running head start through Cowan, TN (MP J-87.0 SE Cowan) for the Cumberland Plateau. CSX J298 is going to be on the rear end of the 8,000ft long manifest til the train get a mile and a half up the mountain, where the pusher will uncouple on the fly and come to a safe stop. From there the crew will swap to the northbound motor and eases their way north back to the helper pocket, and wait for the next freight to enter the Helper District.
