Steam Into History's 4-4-0 #17, "The York", arrives with 3 cars in consist at New Freedom, PA. Built in the early part of the century by the Kloke Locomotive Works in IL, this fully operational locomotive has never been retired, operating since the day it was delivered to the railroad making her just over... 3 years old when this photo was captured! The station to the left, however, now a restaurant and gift shop, dates back to 1860 and was restored to her 1935 appearance in 2003.
