A CN "Draper Taper" in the CN North America scheme leads CN 2650 and CSX 5385 plus 2 buffers and ethanol empties WB by Lock 10 just east of Amsterdam, NY. The dam gates on the lock are up for the winter resulting in a lower level for the Mohawk River.
