Vermont Rail System has returned 6-day-a-week service to the Green Mountain Railroad this week and on the second day, is seen with 'foreign power' in the form of Central Maine & Quebec GP38-3 #3816, trailing VTR GP40-2W 311 and GMTX SD60 9000. The CMQ 3816 is on its way from American Motive Power Inc. in Dansville, NY to delivery on the CMQ at Newport, Vermont. Seen at Mt. Holly, VT, the train is steady into its climb to the summit crossing of the Green Mountains, just another 3 miles ahead.
