Remarks & Notes
I have always found high hoods to be some of the best engines to photograph since I got into railroad photography. It is even better when they are on a shortline railroad. Such is the case with the Lancaster & Chester's solo high hood. It was leading the morning train out of Chester and is seen here working the various customers around the L&C Industrial Park area. They have pulled the power into one of the industry spurs and will let the load of cars roll past the power before hooking back up and taking the cars to their small yard area in downtown Richburg.
