Remarks & Notes

An April 1 heavy snowfall left a foot or more of the fresh white stuff on the eastern slopes of the Green Mountains. Vermont Rail System train 263x - the Saturday Slurry - is seen eastbound out of Chester, Vermont, with VTR SD70M-2 431, GP40-2Ws 310 and 311, with GMTX special logo/paint SD60 9000 bringing up the rear of the consist.
