NS 288 (Atlanta,GA-Detroit,MI) keep up at a steady pace on the main 2 track as the two motors are dragging a empty 8,000 ft long vehicle train up the south-end of the Howardsville grade (MP 25.0H Cohutta) on the Georgia side of the mountain heading for Chattanooga, TN. The lead motor is sporting the (rare) original white face paint scheme that was a originally supposed to be the new thoroughbred paint scheme before the modified unibrow scheme was release. Their is currently 18 motors that is wearing the white face "Bandit" paint scheme left on the active NS roster.
