| Heavy sleet falls as a classic set of streamlined Budd RDC's from the Reading and Northern Railroad pass through the quaint "patch town" of Delano, PA. The duo of RDC's are operating on rare mileage trackage (not commonly covered by the set of Budd's) on an inspection trip with R&N officials on-board. Passing the stone base of a former Lehigh Valley Railroad water tower, the trip is headed back to Port Clinton as they cut through the middle of a neighboring backyard scene. This section of the former LV once hosted the joint PRR/LV ore trains that carried iron ore from the Great Lakes Region to Bethlehem Steel. Today, the Morea Running Track sees service to two consignees scheduled to operate on Monday and Thursday as train QADE. |
