The decapitated water tower of the Nevada Northern Railway at Cherry Creek Station is lit by the 6 day old waxing moon in a star filled Nevada desert Sky. No train has passed here in a very long time witness the sage brush growing between the 1906 55lb rails. Photo made with 2 exposures and combined in Photoshop to capture the range of light in the sky and foreground.
