Remarks & Notes

Now free of the grades and curves of the Tehachapi Mountains, a northbound BNSF Z rolls downhill out of Ilmon block and over Caliente Creek for the fast run to Bakersfield. The hills are still green at the lower and drier altitudes from this Winters Rains.
