Heard these guys heading westbound into Saint John about two hours earlier, I decided to get up early and catch the eastbound 594 out of town, since the lighting would be good. CN 2983 leads a small eastbound 594 empty potash train, as they make the uphill climb out of Saint John, New Brunswick with relative ease, as they approach Torryburn, and Renforth, New Brunswick. This is a location that I like to shoot at, but eastbounds first thing in the morning rarely run, so I couldn't pass this shot up on this morning.
GE manufactured safety cab locomotives, refer to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_GE_locomotives for a complete list.
NOTE: This album includes photos of modern GE passenger locos.
