NS 994 (Atlanta,GA-Chattanooga,TN) slowly creeping its way north on the main 2 track holding back off the advance approach signal at control-point (CP) Long (MP-21.7H), on the north-end of Howardsville Grade on the NS Atlanta North-End in Apison, TN. NS 994 is a daily run power over that run to Debutts Yard with locomotives that are in a need of maintenance, seen here only 2 out of the 9 motors are powering the train. The rest of the 8 motors are FRA-Dead meaning it is time for the locomotive to have their 90 days FRA inspection. Once NS 994 get the Diverging Clear signal to proceed off the 2 track, and on to the single main, the power move will run to Chattanooga ending its long journey from Inman Yard
