| Trains don't go places without people. Operations Manager and engineer Zach Hall has spent much of his life around the 765 - not to mention a handful of other steam locomotives throughout the country - and makes numerous 600-mile roundtrips from his home in Pennsylvania to shepherd numerous logistical and mechanical projects on the 1944-built Berkshire. You can see the 765 on a number of high speed excursions between Joliet and LaSalle Street Station on June 17th and 18th thanks to the dedication of Zach and nearly 100 other volunteers. |
