Running just over six hours late, Amtrak's Southwest Chief, #3, races down grade from Antares as it makes its way into Kingman. With the help of an ex-ATSF SD40-2, BNSF 1731 gets the honors of pulling the silver bus across the northern Arizona and the Mojave Desert, into the LA basin.
