Susquehanna power idles next to the sand tower in Binghamton, New York. NYSW 1800 was one of three GP18’s acquired in 1962 to supplement the Susquehanna’s aging fleet of mid-1940’s-era RS1’s and S2’s. The remained the newest power on the roster for about two decades.
