When it comes to photography more often than not timing and some luck can make all the difference, as illustrated here. Running approximately six hours behind the advertised due to track maintenance; Amtrak's Southwest Chief makes an appearance in the “Big City” of Rowe, NM as the sun fades away and darkness quickly consumes the landscape.
