Just a short distance away from Pan Am's Waterville Yard, the crew slows their train down as they prepare to enter downtown Waterville. Leading the charge, a rare "snoot nose" SD40-2, formerly a KCS engine. With the recent delivery of various former CSX power, it was nice to see the old Pan Am and Guilford painted engines. They seem to still be a stronghold in the Waterville area.
