Amtrak's Veterans' Unit No. 642 leads a double header through Levittown, PA passing the new $25 million dollar station which is due to open next year in 2018 to serve SEPTA commuter patrons. The old PRR station was demolished in 2016. When open, this will be the only statoin with an overhead pedestrian crossing on the NEC in PA. No word yet regarding the future of the well known "bent pole" lamp post, familiar to all who have railfanned this location! Was it the wind? Or a fast moving Acela, or perhaps even a long gone GG1 - no one knows!
