Remarks & Notes

The St. Johnsbury & Lamoille County's pair of ex-NYC GP9s head up the daily Morrisville-St. Johnsbury (VT) freight as it creeps along at 10 mph over the landmark Wolcott covered bridge. This picturesque relic had to be strengthened to accommodate their weight when they were purchased to replace the StJ's aging GE 70-Tonners.
