| Iconic Deathstar
As the loaded grain train CN G87670-17 get a signal to proceed out of the siding at Lake Cormorant (MP-20.4) on the CN Yazoo Subdivision, we take a moment, and look at the true Heritage Unit that is leading this train. Who would have thought that this 24 year old IC 1025 would be one of forty of the SD70's the last batch of locomotives bought by the Illinois Central would still be in revenue service. Also even 22 years later after the IC buy out by Canadian National it's still unbelievable that this iconic Deathstar paint scheme the last image of the Illinois Central would survive into the 21st Century.
