| Get up early to catch the best light! Amtrak 230 makes a pass with a Metro-North Shoreliner cab car at the rock cut at Spuyten Duyvl as it enters Marble Hill. The presence of P42s on these runs diverting summer service from Penn Station to Grand Central is somewhat misleading - their main function is as cab control for the P32AC-DM drawing power from 3rd rail as it enters Grand Central Terminal. |
