A former section of the Reading Company's Newtown Line makes a "Bee LIne" for Churchville, PA - or, man builds, nature reclaims. Sure wish I had taken the opportunity to ride this incredibly scenic line. There have been numerous attempts to have service returned to this former Reading line that terminated at Newtown, PA. Of those attempts, LRV's were considered, in addition to RDC's and even electrifying the line. An attempt at one point even saw a proposal of a scenic tourist line - imagine that! The way things are going, at the very least, we may very well be able to hike and bike it.
