Remarks & Notes
Light oil fired modernised 2-10-0 steamlocomotive 52 # 8055 of the Dampflokomotiv und Maschinenfabrik (DLM) in Oensingen, with Neu Bechburg castle in the background. The locomotive is based in Schaffhausen and wears now a broad golden stripe (adhesives) instead of a bright yellow. The locomotive was originally built in 1942 by Maschinenbau AG Grafenstadt as # 1649. Reconstructed to 52 # 8055 in 1962 in the German Democratic Republic (GDR). 1992 bought by Eisenbahnfreunde Zollernbahn (EFZ). Rebuilt, modernised and converted to burn light oil in 1998 by SLM Winterthur.
