| This is the current state of K-28 #478. After operating in 2016, she was taken out of service for her FRA mandated overhaul. While waiting for her turn in the shop, she has been placed on display in the tight quarters of the Durango roundhouse museum. Sister #476 spent many years recently in the museum after operating through the 1990s, but it was decided that 476 would be the next up in the shops to steam again. |
