| CP 1459 with SUB. 17123 from Barreiro to Setúbal is about to depart at Barreiro station. Barreiro was until 1999 the station of Lisbon south of the Tagus. To get in the city centre there were frequent ferry services between Terreiro do Paço station in Lisbon and Barreiro. Nowadays this station is no more in use. Only suburban trains are serving Barreiro from a new station driect near the new ferry terminal. Long distance trains from an to the south make use of the Ponte de 1.Abril.
