Southern 4501 crosses the trestle over the South Fork of Powell River in East Stone Gap, Va. on the return portion of its circle excursion from Kingsport to St. Paul via the ex-CRR, St. Paul to Norton via the ex-N&W, Norton to Appalachia via the ex-IRR, Appalachia to Frisco via the ex-SOU and Frisco to Kingsport via the ex-CRR.
