| Pine King was built for the Santa Fe by Budd as a 10-6 Sleeper, and had been re-purposed by Amtrak as a crew dorm car on eastern single level long distance trains. Some windows were removed in the center of the car to make way for shower and retention toilet facilities where bedrooms once existed. |
