Remarks & Notes
BN 7113 with an LMX Dash8-39B second out is hustling out the south main while a manifest off the Sioux City Sub at Ashland waits for traffic ahead. The route still retained some of its CB&Q heritage as evidenced by the signal bridge.

The EMD SD (special duty) series are a strong and reliable kind of locomotive which still serve America's rails today. They have proved themselves reliable by clocking in several million miles of freight service over several decades.
