Running on the old Pensacola and Atlantic railroad trackage is Q602. The train is passing through the railroad builders namesake town of Chipley. Fast forward nearly one Hundred and Fifty Years, and the trackage is now owned by giant class one road CSX. Q602 is rolling to a stop on the main for an outbound Q601 from Chattahoochee. This is CSX's DTC mainline from Pensacola-Chattahoochee, the P&A Sub. From the signal at the wye stem in Flomaton, Alabama, to the CP GF&A in Tallahassee the railroad runs through dark territory. EC-1 forms are the way to move trains over the road at a maximum of 50mph.
