Remarks & Notes
LMS 713 works upgrade passing MG as a set of helpers drift downgrade. The 1944 MG Block Station was built to add crossover capability on the lengthy grade from Altoona to Gallitzin, made critical by the crush of wartime traffic and being the area on PRR's system where east and westbound passenger fleets passed in the middle of the night. The unique building still stands, with windows filled in. Fuji Astia.
