Remarks & Notes
C&O F7(A) no.7004 sports an experimental paint scheme applied in 1960 to simplify the paint schemes, yet providing good visibility of the units at grade crossings. Two F7As nos.7004 and 7068, and a GP7 no. 5761 were so painted. The yellow nose was adopted instead, and this too disappeared in favor of a plain blue unit by the late 1960s. Photos of the Zebra units are rare!Photo taken from my slide collection. No photographer listed on slide.
