| Railcar ABe 4/4 # 34 of the Rhaetian Railway (RhB) is leaving the 689 meter long Charnadüra tunnel between St.Moritz and Celerina Staz, on the way to Pontresina.
This 395 kW railcar was built in 1908 by SIG and Alioth as BCe 4/4 # 4 with 220 kW for the then independent Bernina Railway from St.Moritz to Tirano. Rebuilt in 1947 and in green/cream colors, then red from 1962 to 2001. Kept in best condition by the RhB and association Club 1889. |
