A rising full moon and moving clouds highlight this evening's blue hour as it begins to illuminate over the famous Spirit of B&O caboose currently sitting at the north end of the West Point siding. This one of a kind painted caboose is attached to the rear of a loaded CWR train that will deposit new 115 and 136 pound rail along this subdivision in the coming days. The unique looking caboose reminds onlookers about the historic B&O Railroad and its role in this country's history. To read more about this caboose, please click here.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
