Remarks & Notes
Deseret Power Railway's morning, loaded, train ran around 4 hours early this morning so as to open a window for the maintenance crew to replace a rail at around MP 1.5. After unloading at the Bonanza Power Plant, this morning train rolled back east and is seen here descending the grade on the east side of Holum Pass. The pass is named after the railway’s first Superintendent and the train had orders to stop at the top of Holum Pass and wait for further orders to proceed east. However the order was changed and Shift Supervisor Rick Quinn radioed the train to stop short of the crew replacing rail at MP 1.5 and wait. They waited alright; they went back to the yard and ate lunch.

Some are loved, others are hated. In the end, they are failures.
