Today, hundreds of railroad enthusiasts from all over the world came to experience the "Elephants" double-header on the famous Gotthard line! The four-cylinder compound 2-10-0 steam locomotives C 5/6 #2978 (from SBB Historic, built in 1917) and C 5/6 #2969 (from Eurovapor, built in 1916 and entirely rebuilt over the past 20 years) are pulling the 10-car heritage train. B 3/4 #1367, a 2-6-0 "Mogul" steam locomotive built in 1916, is pushing the train.
